The Burying Grounds are the final resting place of many famous people, including Edgar Allan Poe, General Sam Smith, and General James McHenry. William Blake Lodge has arranged a private tour of the grounds and catacombs for a small fee. The tours will last approximately 1 hour, and includes the Burying Grounds, Catacombs, Westminster Hall (if available), and a fifteen-minute film on the history of the Grounds, some of the famous people buried here, and their relationship with Baltimore.
